The Peach Blossom Fan
"The Peach Blossom Fan" tells a story set in Nanjing during the final years of the Ming dynasty. Centered on the love and separation of Hou Fangyu and Li Xiangjun, the drama portrays the social realities of late Ming Nanjing. It also reveals the causes behind the collapse of the Hongguang regime, celebrates patriotic heroes and ordinary people who remained loyal to their country, and expresses the profound sorrow of Ming loyalists over the fall of their dynasty.
